Can CBD Oil Help with Pain?
CBD is one of the cannabinoids present on cannabis plants. More precisely, CBD is a natural active substance of marijuana and hemp or industrial hemp. Since marijuana is psychoactive because it causes addiction and the “high feeling” on users, made cannabis look bad in general.
But, with the rise of CBD things are changing a lot. When talking about CBD and its therapeutic properties it is hard not to mention THC. THC is kind of a rival to CBD, as both offer health benefits, but have differences in terms of effects.

What makes CBD different from THC?
As you may already know, THC is the one element of the cannabis plant with psychoactive effects. THC (1) has the power to cause addiction and make users feel “high”. But there can be cannabis plants(2) with no THC at all, THC-free let’s say.
To explain that we should first explain the cannabis groups and dive into details on one of them. So, cannabis can be of three types such as Cannabis Sativa, Cannabis Indica, and Cannabis Ruderalis, but will explain more about Cannabis Sativa(3).
Cannabis Sativa has two main strains in the name of marijuana and hemp or as many call it industrial hemp. These two varieties differ from each other in terms of CBD and THC percentage on them. Industrial hemp can contain more than 20% CBD and less than 0.3% THC, which makes it legal in US countries.
This regulation may be different in European countries, in Asia, Canada, or Australia. Under this condition these states consider hemp legal to cultivate and use it for hemp oil or produce CBD oil. On the other hand, there is marijuana which is illegal because it may contain more than 20% THC, and less than 10% CBD. This amount of THC in marijuana causes addiction, and for that reason is as we all know, illegal.
